Convergence: A League of Legends Story

As a Game and Level Designer on the project, I specialized in creating unique and engaging experiences for players. I owned the design for level structures, platforming challenges, combat encounters, and enemy types that appear within the levels I've created. My goal was to make sure that each level I created and its contents were unique and provided a challenge for the player

Level Objective Design

During the development of Conv/rgence: A League of Legends Story, a large design direction pivot needed to be made. This allowed me to create new level objectives for the player to accomplish within each level I created. Whether it was an emotional objective or a gameplay objective, I ensured that the player completed their mission in a satisfying way.

Enemy & Challenge Design

Along with creating new level designs, new enemies and platforming challenges needed to be added during the pivot. I took ownership of the design of several platforming, mechanical, and combat challenges. Each enemy I designed served the purpose to enhance the players current objectives. Testing new abilities, creating combat pressure, or even just a providing thematic space for the player to explore, my designs made sure the player's experience was in tune with their current mission direction.
